Philip Harter Plumbing & Heating St. Charles, ILL IL Toilet Paper Wire Holder

This is 4.5 inches long. The chrome edge has a small bit of discoloration. The piece is from the Wolverine Brass Works that were in Grand Rapids, Michigan and are still in business today. Mr. Harter was mentioned in an April, 1919 Plumbers Journal. He had recently plumbed a new school building in St. Charles along with T. E. Ryan's new home. I guess this holder for toilet paper was doing its job in more ways than one!   St. Charles is in Kane County about 38 miles  west of Chicago in the Fox River Valley.   310
